Vintage British A.T.P. Watch Repair

A bit of history

A.T.P. stands for ‘Army Trade Pattern,’ following a set of design rules created for the British armed forces. The pattern incorporated a watch case from 30 to 34mm with a white or silver dial with black numbers for legibility. A sub seconds hand at the 6 o’clock position aided in more precise timing coordination. These pieces also featured a reliable 15 jeweled movement (in this case made by Enicar), and fixed lug straps. The hands and markers were painted with luminous material.
