SERVICE, REPAIR, & RESTORATION Omega 30T2

History

This Omega 30T2 is a classic men’s dress watch. While the 30T2 designation doesn’t specifically exist in Omega’s collection, the name is used to refer to watches containing the Caliber 30T2 movement, which was a popular movement produced by the brand during the mid-20th century.

The Caliber 30T2 was introduced in the 1930s and remained in production until the 1960s. It was known for its accuracy, reliability, and elegance, making it a favored choice for dress watches, and was also issued for use in the military.

The watch features a simple design, typically characterized by a round stainless steel or gold case with a clean, uncluttered dial showcasing Arabic numeral hour markers or sleek applied baton hour markers, along with elegant hour and minute hands. Some variations may include a small seconds sub-dial located at the 6 o’clock position.
