Safely Shipping Your Vintage Watch for Repair

Shipping your vintage or high-value watch can feel intimidating, but with the right precautions it is a safe and reliable process. To ensure your timepiece arrives securely pack the watch in a small box within a larger box with at least 3″ of packaging material around the inner box, and avoid describing the contents as a “watch” on the exterior for security reasons. When preparing your shipment, choose a reputable carrier such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and consider using tracking, signature confirmation, and insurance based on the value of your watch. Because policies vary, check with your chosen carrier for any special requirements or restrictions concerning high-value or insured shipments.

Before sending your watch, please email or call to let me know it is on the way. Once I receive your timepiece, I will confirm its arrival and provide updates throughout the evaluation and service process. Proper packaging and communication help ensure a smooth, safe, and professional repair experience from start to finish.
