Service of the Jules Jurgensen Vintage Wrist Watch with A. Schild (AS) 1749 movement.
Servicing the Jules Jürgensen Wrist Watch

This gold cased watch uses an off the shelf calander A. Schild calibre 1749 bio-directional automatic movement that has been “personalized” with the Jules Jürgensen name and an upgraded gold colored plating. The balance jewels are shock resistant, and the date advance is instantaneous at midnight. During the complete disassembly service the movement was first cleaned by hand to remove handed oil, then put in an agitation/ultrasonic automatic cleaning machine. After reassembly and lubrication this movement keeps time within 10 sec/day or better in between positions.
