The original Gruen watch company was in business from the early 20th century to around 1958 when it was sold. During that time it turned out many innovative and well designed pocket and wrist watches. Under new ownership, second incarnation manufactured watches until the mid 1970’s, and they were still of good quality.
This Gruen Precision was made after the 1958 sale, and its automatic movement (710 RSS) is of good quality and is running well after a complete disassembly service.
